Tach reading crazy
I was wondering if I could get some help. My brother, Brian Blum, is a member here, but he just moved and doesn't have internet yet. His tach is reading all over the place driving down the road. It's reading like 7000rpm at about 2000. Does anyone know if it the tach filter can be temporarily by-passed. If it can, will it cause any other problems? I figure GM put it there for a reason. It is a 92 with a LT1. Thanks.
