I need Help
I have an 84 Vette and am having electrical problems. My fan doesn't want to come on, it does occassionally, but not very often. I know the relay is out, and I have it wired to run whenever the ignition is turned on. Then whenever I turn my car alarm on or off, my dash lights up. One more example, my dash fades the more I drive it, if I drive in for a few days in a row it is almost completey faded out or it flickers. Any ideas. Thanks

Buy a new relay & sending unit for the fan.
Dash lights are a common problem there are many sites designed to help.

You can try tapping & or pushing on the dash to restore the display when it fades.Its not really good for it to so.You need to restore it.
I doubt the alarm has anything to do with the dash lights, just a coinincedence.
