Bosch Wiper Blades?
I've gotten a couple of recommendations for using Bosch wiper blades. I have a pair on my pick-up
and they work great. In scanning the Bosch literature it appears that they do
not make a blade for C4's. Is that true? Can anybody recommend a good blade and
carrier replacement for the stock blades and carrier assembly?

I think someone is incorrect. You should be able to get a Bosch Microedge for any C4. If you have a problem let me know and I will look into it a bit deeper.

Funny, I have the Bosch on my Suburban and my wife's car and I don't think they lasted very long, especially when compared to the "other" brand.

Put Bosch on my 4 X 4 years ago and they're still going strong. When I went to look for some for the vette, the parts guy advised against it because more recent bosch examples had quality problems. Maybe they changed where they are manufactured?? Anyway, I have a set of 96 OEM arms and blades on order to upgrade my 92 as we speak. The parts guy recomended ANCO. Yeah, right. Someone said the fancy Quadrablades can have clearance problems. Is that true?

I just ran into a wiper blade issue also. I tried to replace what was on my C4. Bosch did not list any, so I looked to see what was on car, it was Anco. I tried the new ones only to find out that they would not clear the hood on retracting when they were turned off. I gave up and spent the $$$ for the factory version which are a good 1/4 inch less in height. Be sure to make sure that non-factory versions are slim enough...

I had the same problem. The place I was at only had the arms and blades, not just the blades. If you can find Bosch replacement blades in the right lenght and width (which they should come in) for your arm then you'll be okay. Otherwise, as far as I've been able to figure out, Bosch doesn't make an arm that will clear our hoods.
