Theres a couple different techiniques of doing this.
The first technique is take the valve covers off the motor each side one at a time. And start the motor and let it idle.
Meanwhile, you tighten each rocker until that one stocks ticking, and then turn another half turn. While this makes a oily, smoky mess, Ive found it to be the fastest way, but not the best way.

Best way is to have the intake off so you can see the lifters. Turn the engine for each cylinder until both valves are closed. Then slowly tighten down each rocker until the pushrod can't move up and down anymore (you should still be able it roll it with your fingers). Once you have it where it won't move anymore, then turn the nut another half turn and then go for another one.

Also since your using roller rockers, another thing that Ive found useful. Is they have the polylocks on them, instead of going another half turn at the end. Instead go a 1/4 turn with the big bolt, then tighten down the polylock, then turn the big bolt another 1/4 turn to lock it down nice and tight so it won't come off on you.
Trust me, its not pretty when your driving down the road and a rocker arm comes off because you didn't lock it down good
