Happy 4th everyone! I have a tpi set up and looking to go to the lt1 manifold. Does anyone do it as I tried to get Scott @ lt1intake, but his message is too busy!

local machine shop will mill down egr mount to clear big HEI , drill distrib hole using precision locating fixture, drill and tap rear water outlets....doesn't like to drill the manifold/head bolt holes (did it in the past tho---???)....limited output as he only does this kind of thing in his ''spare'' time, usually less than a week wait unless you hassle him--then it's never...i've got one going in later this week, i'll check his availability if you want

IMO, that's a heck of a lot of work and you wind up with a cheese grater intake after all the holes you have to drill out.

Remote T-stat, backyard engineered distributor, throttle linkage mess. YUK.

Work with what you got, personally I think it would be easier to drop in a real LT1 and make your stock stuff work with that.

Thanks for the pics. I have been thinking about this. Or maybe a Stealth Ram if it will fit under the Greenwood/Moldcraft hood scoops.
