So, I finish installing my Superram and bunch of associated goodies and I proceed to hook up my fuel lines and much to my surprise, the return line nut is smaller that the fuel rail coupler.
I've read that in later years, 89 and on, the fuel line and return lines are the same size. I have an 86 so I am in a bit of a pinch.
Is there an adapter that will help couple these two together? Would any one know of a part number?
I would expect you to be using the fuel rails off your old TPI. If this is the case, the rails should match perfectly, as they came off your own car. Maybe I am not understanding the issue.
You could get a 88-91 fuel return line and replace the one you have, it splices down by the fuel filter, and is kind of a pain to do. I think I have one, but I'm in Phoenix. I'd recomend getting one locally or cut the line and connect it to the proper fitting. Since it is the return line and thus low pressure, It should be okay if you make sure it doesn't leak.
