Default Windshield wiper motor

I have a very low mileage (7,500 miles) 1996 Collector Edition Coupe which I imported to the UK from Roger's Corvette Center Florida during 2004. The car was recently awarded best car of the show at the Corvette Nationals UK, one of the judges informed me that points were deducted due to a problem with the wiper motor connections under the hood, I have never experienced any problem with the wipers, but the two plugs that enter the motor have some how overheated and partly melted, I have never noticed this before and it looks as though the plugs may have been like this for sometime.
I have searched your excellent forum, but unable to find any details of a similar fault, would you recommend changing the wiper motor or should I attempt to source some new plugs and see if the problem returns.
The wiring harness is ok and not burnt anywhere, the plugs are just in a real mess which would be difficult to repair, please advise where to source some new electrical connectors.
I would appreciate your advice, thanks.

I'd try Eclkers or MidAmerica for replacement parts. It also wouldn't hurt to buy the Helms or Haynes repair manuals for reference. Good luck.
