computer chip????????????????
Iasked a question about more horses, the responce was good ,someone sugested that I get rid of the hypertech chip and get a real perf. chip could anyone sugest another chip Iwas told that this was the only available for my car.

I have had 3 different tuners do chips for me. 1. is good but expensive, 2. is a total rip off. 3. was worth every penny and then some. So I will only tell you about no. 3.
I used Alvin at www.pcmforless.com and he was able to do a mail order chip which was within 6hp of his dyno tune on the same car. Alvin will fine tune via mail or e-mail with datalogs etc. but the bottom line is, his initial tune was just about dead on. He turned out to be the cheapest, yet he offers the best service. He even guarentees his work or if not satisified he will refund your money!! Incedently, one of the other tuners I used promised a refund but did not come through with it.
Trust me and others, use Alvin.

I can only vouch for ski_dwn_it since he's the one I chose to do my chip. Why? Because he was the only one to try and help me out with a problem I had started a thread about. His chip makes my car perform like it never has before and ZERO issues.

Jesse is somewhat local for me also. Good guy and will help you even if you do not spend your money with him. Anyone that offers to come to the track with me to tune my car gets 2 thumbs up

I had 2 experiences while here at the CF.
1. tuner #1 failed me and my engine went south. No refunds either. Mailorder tune. I will not mention his name, so don't even ask.
2. tuner #2 (in my profile/BIO), Alvin at www.pcmforless.com did a stellar job. Same with 93ragtop, my tune was darned close the first time around. Mailorder tune! It was close enough with SD that I could have left it as is. He nailed it on just the 1rst tweak. A cheap laptop, ALDL cable and Datamaster (TTS Power Systems) is your friend. I will fight for Alvin to my grave.
