Lt1 Crankshaft ?
I spun a rod bearing in my 94 and I am in need of a crank kit. I read the page by Doug Anderson on the LT1 and he states that the LT1 and a regular 350 have the same casting #s but are balanced differently and to never use a regular 350 crank in a LT1. My question is, if the #s are the same how would I know if the crank I get in the kit is the right one for the LT1? Thanks for any help.

This isn't exactly in line with your question, but you should take a peek into the for sale section. I'm sure there's some folks with good LT1 cranks that will work with you. Just an idea. Good luck.
I spun a bearing in my 94 and just went 383

I've got a good one that I removed myself from a healthy LT1. All standard, good to go. $50 + shipping.

Corvette Kid, I'm interested. Do you know approx how much a crank weighs? Would you happen to have a connecting rod laying around?

Corvette Kid, I'll take the crank.
Do you have a rod available to sell?
If so how much?
Do you take Paypal?
Thanks, Craig
