Simple C4 17X11 question
I want to use 17x11 50mm offset rims on my C4 with 335/35/17 tires. How will it fit, will there be any drivability issues, will there be any rubbing?

You must provide the year of the car.

I think he has a 94. It will stick out a bit from the fenders.

Sorry about that. Yes it is a 1994. So the best route would be to go with 38mm's?

No, you must use the 50mm offset.
But the 335 will stick out a bit.

I dont know why I typed 335. I ment 315. So with 315/35's and a 50mm offset would I be good to go?

I have 17x11's in the rear with 315mm tire......you'll be fine. They'll stick about 1/4" but it looks fine

Yes its still going to stick out, this is why the GrandSport uses a Fender flare.

Just a note, if car is lowered in rear you will rub innner fender liner with 315's if you drive hard.

Seems like everyone says to get the GS flares if your tires stick out but that doesnt stop it from rubbing the fender still.

In hard racing anything can happen, even moreso if you lower the rear.

50mm offset, 315's 17x11's, doesnt stick out because I narrowed the brake bracket, used a 87 spindle etc etc. This modification brings the tires in an additional 13 mm as the 87 spindle is 13 mm shorter than a 93.

Not to jack the post but can you run 11's up front? I have 4 17x11 50mm offset ZR1 wheels and was thinking about running 11's all around for auto-x but wasnt sure if i would have rubbing problems.
I have a 95 that is stock height. Thanks for any info

slight correction, you will rub your tires at stock ride height with 285's if you drive hard, more so with the 315's.
