Default 1991 brake line replacement

1991 L98 auto. The brake lines under the car and below the ABS system are rusted and leaking. My questions are, are these brake lines metric and have the ISO bubble flares? Will it be difficult to bleed the system after replacing the brake lines? Are these lines available in stainless?
Thanks in advance for any help

They are availible in stainless in sets of 4 from Ecklers, Midamerica, and others. The vendor description will give you the info you need. A set of braided stainless lines will run about $100. A damn good investment.

The lines use ISO bubble flare fittings but the tubing appears to be 3/16".

It may take some patience to bleed the system but it will not be difficult.
At the worst, you might decide to approach a dealer to have them use
their tool for activating the ABS while bleeding - be sure that they
have the tool before leaving the car.

A recent thread announced that the member had found lines "available"
from Classic. Long delivery. Finally found a source for brake lines!

Read about the adventures Performance nut had while trying to
repair a damaged fitting at the M/C. Frustrated beyond belief

Note that there is a mention of a BMW coupler nut near the end of
Pn's thread. Perhaps these could be used to repair segments by
splicing new material where the water accumulated in the OEM lines?
Before doing this, verify whether replacement of segments is good
practice.
