say my tps was not positioned properly, what would be posible symptoms of this during regular use of the car...... other than the 'too low/high' ecm codes.
If the voltage of the TPS, (and I'm at work now without my FSM) is not right you will get a stumble. I believe it should be about .54 at closed throttle and around 4 at WOT, 4 might be a tad low, but like I said I'm at work.Of course there are other players, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, injectors, etc.
Yeah, cos at quick take off the car sorta stumbles as if fuel is not getting in... as if the injectors are blocked. ive got new fuel filter, plugs and good condition leads. injectors may not be 100% but i think sill ok(all still ticking).
when i hop outa the car, i can sometimes smell fuel, but not always.
i also sometimes have eratic idle (between 5 and 11) but again, thats not too often.
i was thinking tps cos the guy who had it before said he took it off once to clean it, then put it back on (without meter), got a too high/low code, adjusted it once more (again with no meter) and never got a code again.
the car sits at about 5 sometimes six revs at trafic lights, not sure when engine is runing in park though.
what is the procedure to check the voltage? i can do it myself, but im more confident when i have basic instructions (then i know im definitely doing it right)

thanks for all help
oz,
Try this link: https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...D=55&TopicID=2. I currently have a code 21 and these instructions help a bit. Of course I can't get the meter to give me a proper volt reading for some reason, so I still have the problem.
The instructions on the other hand are clear and easy and if nothing else, points you in the right direction.
