MSD boost control rev limiting on it's own
I just installed a msd 6AL BTM box on my 92 supercharged tpi and it is rev limiting on it's own at 5,000 rpm. Then it will go down to 4500 before it picks back up. But this only happens under a load. It will rev right to 6,000 in neutral. I called MSD, but the guy was a moron. This box is made to retard the timing per pound of boost, I tried anywhere from 0 to 1.5 degrees per lb of boost with no change. I tried various Rev switches and no swich and there is no change. Any ideas?
