Well that shows that it depends on the covers. When I had my original composite LT1 covers on, there was never a side clearance issue. Now I have polished Morosos on it and there were no clearance issues at all with the rockers, just the alternator!
I have 1.6 Pro Mags BTW.
I might be able to split it up, but this would be a really nice boost up for your motor.
Thanks for the offer, but I think i'll go with what i said in the post. Its a great price for the whole setup, but i'm not at that point in the engine yet. Interior Done, Engine clean and upgraded, NEXT is the paint job this winter, then I plan on getting block and go for a clean new engine build.
"i don't really know WHICH ONE to use. Street only, no racing, best performance, Strength, best bang for the buck...
Thanks"
IMHO I think you are doing yourself out of some $$ by going to alum full rollers.
The CC magnums @ $190 (self aligning ) will do more than adequate for what you want.Or buy the cheaper $150 non-self aligning ones and some guide plates.
More than happy with the CC Magnums in my street / strip engine.
Your welcome! Let us know how all turns out! It'll feel better after the install you should be able to feel it in the seat and feel almost like a lighter gas pedal!

Point: but i will be doing more engine work along the way, and i believe from experience that you should get the best that will serve its purpose into the future, cheap is fine and you get what you pay for,,,, but, I've never gone the cheap mode on anything.
I installed Crane's Gold Self Aligning rockers about 4 years ago and I'm a "spirited driver" and auto-X participant. Don't forget the hardened pushrods. They do a good job. BTW, they look really cool when the valve covers are off.
Just adding 1.5 roller tip rockers will gain you zero in the hp dept.
Just adding 1.5 roller fulcrum rockers will gain you about 2 hp.
You'll need to go up to 1.6 ratio full rollers to gain anything close to 15 hp.

The Comp Magnum roller tip rocker should add a very slight increase in power due to the slightly higher lift ratio (1.52 vs. the stock lift of 1.50 - which in all truthfullness is actually even lower - some say as low as 1.40).
However, the true worth of the roller tip rockers is the lessened wear on the valve guides and valve stems (due to the side loading the stock sliding rocker arm impart on the valve stems).
