I know there has been quite a bunch of tests by you guys concerning which has come out the best.... I know there 1.6 roller rockers, so which has come out on top...
I have run a few different ones. For individual stud mount rockers, I run the Comp Cam Pro Magnums on 7/16" studs. I run Jesel shaft rockers on my other.

What is it, in your mind, that makes one "the best', or better than another?

RACE ON!!!
Well, Stock engine, and want to upgrade the rockers, and not know which would be the best ones to go with, considering the 350 is stock on the heads (alum) and thats all i want to replace at this time. Besides i'm just starting to learn about this part of the engine.
BEST depends on your application, race or street? The Comp Cams roller tip rockers are fine for a street motor. If you are going to race you need a full roller fulcrum rocker. The Comp Cams fulcrum rockers can't take the heat. When I tried them in a race motor they fried in a few laps. The fulcrums and studs were blued from over heating. Took them out ASAP.

Maybe I need to rephrase that. What is it about the "BEST" that will be better than the one you don't want to use? What are you looking for? What do you value? Appearence? Price? Strength? Popularity? Name? What is it, in your mind, that makes one better than another?

Larry: Thanks, as i posted to CFI, this is JUST for STREET, no racing, just wanting to add a little boost to the eng performance, and as i understand they should prob add 10-15hp. The runners & plenum are ported, and she has Hi-flow precat w/magnaflow exhaust.

That just it, i don't really know WHICH ONE to use. Street only, no racing, best performance, Strength, best bang for the buck...
Thanks
Crane 1.6 RR's self aligning(Golds) work absoloutly great. Quiet and easy to install and adjust! Very happy with their product and would not change from them to another what so ever!

Does a happy customer make his selection "The Best"? Comp cams has several different offerings. Harlan Sharp was a pioneer in roller rocker arms, and there are many others with good products available. And speaking of roller rocker arms, do you even want rollers? There are some less expensive, non-roller, and roller tip, only, 1.6:1 rockers available, too. It all goes back to what you are looking for, and what YOU consider to be the attributes of "The Best".

CFI Thanks: As i posted back earlier: This is just trying to get more hp out of the stock engine, and not really knowing all the ins and outs of things, but reading, that RR give you some of the best hp for the $'s, with miminal engine work. So thats what i'm looking to try and accomplish. Maybe all in all the word "BEST" should only relate to personal taste.
tks

The Pro Magnums mentioned above do have roller fulcrums. You're confusing the Magnums with the Pro Magnums.

What would width have to do with valve cover clearance? The only valve cover issue I've ever heard of with either is the drip tabs. This seems to vary by which cover a given car has. Either way, it's a simple problem to remedy. The Cranes are essentially the same as what the LT4's come with, only they are set up to be adjustable when purchased in the aftermarket. The Pro Mags, although stainless steel, are still actually lighter than most aluminum RRs. They are also rebuildable if ever the need arises. Both are good selections for a street car that will be driven and even for racing up to their design limits.
I've had both... With the Crane golds it was just removing the drip tabs. When I went to the wider Comp Pro Mags I had to grind each side of the bolt towers as well as crimp the crap out of the breather units on the underside of the valve covers. No big deal really.
