I want to hook up my gauges to the high side port on my 92. What type of port is this and what adapter do I need.

Look at the schrader valve. If it's deeply recessed, you need to purchase the GM 91 and latter high side service adapter fitting.

Here's a picture at this url

If the schrader valve is not recessed, you need the normal service adapter fitting. The fittings on the adapters are 1/4 male and 3/16 female. The only difference between the two service adapters is how far each can depress the schrader valve.

This is the fitting you need. But remember, if you decide to convert to R134, this Bridgeport (or sometimes call Piedmont or "Deep-Throat") valve goes away.
