Default Difference between L98 Camaro and Vette Heads?

Is there any difference between the L98 head on my Corvette and a L98 Camaro Head? Is there anything else less expensive I may be able to find as a replacement for some new 113s?

I believe the camaro heads were iron, and they probably dont flow as well, but I dont know their casting #.

There is nothing less expensive that flows as well to my knowledge that is aluminum. Iron heads will carry a big tradeoff in weight.

Also, if the Camaro heads are 1987 or newer, your intake manifold will not work, because the iron heads got the revised intake center bolt angles. Aluminum L-98 Corvette heads never got this, as far as I know.

If memory serves, I think the EGR provisions are different. The corvette's EGR source feeds off the #8 exhaust pipe, and because of that I don't think vett heads had provisions for routing the center cylinder's exhaust ports into the intake manifold. But I could be wrong.

If I'm not mistaken weren't you looking for a head earlier this year? I know I already replied to your want add, and these guys are correct. The intakes are different as well as the heads. I have a complete L98 from a Fbody and the only things that are common are the shortblocks.

If memory serves, 14101083 and 0183 - they were used on crate motors and TBI motors as well
