venom injectors

Anyone tried Venom injectors from Jegs, they are only$199.00 compared to Accels $250.00 and pink tops at $279.00.

Not looking to cut corners, but always looking for best price.

Car is stock 1985 vette with hypertech chip,

Not looking to modify just need it to run properly.

Or should i pay the extra and go with fords

Ordered Fords instead

I took upon myself and made a decision yesterday evening and ordered a set of Ford 24 lbs injectors from Jegs, Clerk who took my order said he never heard someone install them in a corvette and advised me not to.

I relied on what i read on this forum and ordered them anyways, Jegs do not advertise them as pink tops, but clerk told me they were pink.

I hope i made the right purchase.

Let me know what you guys think

I thought the pink ones were 19lbs? I used to run some light blue 24's, and some dark blue 36's on my fbody years ago. Always worked fine. Only deal with the ford injectors is, they are loud.

They do have a lifetime warranty and from what I have read about them, they are supposed to be pretty good.

Python and Accel injectors are the only ones I know to avoid.

Pink ones are 19lbs. For your 1985 you need the Blue top injectors (24#) and an AFPR. You'll be a little rich without one.
