From what I've seen your only options are: Buy a new stock timing set, Lunati makes an aftermarket set, or upgrade to the Cloyes double roller. But, to run the Cloyes you'll need to upgrade you opti, timing cover, opti wire harness, opti vacuum harness, and camshaft's dowel oin.

Oh forgot, with the Cloyes you need to run an electric water pump.

cloyes makes a replacement chain for your engine that is slightly better than stock but it is big money. If i had it too do all over again i would do the newer style opti swap because you can run a double roller timing chain. Also when you go to take off the hub on the crank there is a special removal/installation toll that kent more makes for the LT-1. Even with this tool the hub is a PIA to take off and install. Good luck

Just curious but with the Danaspark opti, can a double chain be run?

Yes, I have the Dynaspark and the Cloyes, and I could not be more pleased.

Yes, but you'll have to upgrade to the 95/96 opti, 95 timing cover, 95/95 opti wire/vacuum harnesses, change camshafts or change your current camshaft's dowel pin, and an electric water pump.

I'm doing sort of a same job. I need to replace the timing cover seal and O ring. To re-install the HUB, how is it done?
