I have replaced the opti spark, spark plugs, coil and the plug wires and still have a miss under a lite to heavy load. I used all AC Delco parts not cheap ones. I checked the TCC sol and they are working fine so it's not in the trans. It's a 92 with about 90,000 miles on it. I just started all at once.
Weak spark coil output can cause your symptoms. You would benefit from looking at the spark waveform with an ignition analyzer. Call around at auto electrical shops and see if any have an ignition analyzer.
Look at your idling engine at night, in the dark for sparks along the length of your new wires. Sparks on a wire means no spark at the plug gap and a miss. Make sure your wire looms are intact and in good condition and that no plug wires are touching metal that is grounded.
