Hey guys, my car is dead and its the ignition system somewhere. So here's my question, there are 4 wires that go into the ignition module 1 black 2 white and 1 pink. The black is ground, but is the pink hot? I only have 0.5V on the pink. Could that be my problem? Or is that normal?
Two things, first I'd check for codes, then verify your DVOM is in the right scale. The pink and one white wire should have 5 volts but the meter could make it look like .5 if on the wrong scale.
Its a really nice voltmeter, auto scaling, so that's out of the questions. It really is 0.457 V. Is there a fuse or something that could be blown?? I'd like to check that before I jumper 12V to it.

Sorry, I was incorrect about the 5 volt supply to the module, it should be 12 volts. The 5 volt supply is to the distributor.
My book shows supply voltage coming to the module from the coil , the coil does receive it's supply through a 10 amp fuse located in the fuse block at the right side of the dash, hot in start or run position of the ign. switch. hope that helps.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. I'll replace the fuse and see what happens, I may have to run a new wire if its something in between.
You are never going to believe what it turned out to be. I've got an MSD box with a little wire harness that plugs in between the vette wire harness and the coil. One of the connectors slipped off just enough to not make contact anymore and there went my 12V power. Just plug it back in and I'm now back in business.
