Inexpensive anti seize/thread compound/lubricant source
The least expensive anti seize/thread compound/lubricant is Briggs and Stratton part number 93963. It comes in a one pound can with a brush in the cap . It is effective from -350 to 3000 degrees F (-177 to 1649 C), and up to 50,000 PSI (3447 bar). Briggs and Stratton has been installing steel fasteners into aluminum blocks since 1953 (year sound familiar?). We use it as a valve guide lubricant as well as an anti seize lubricant.
