MSD plug gap

What does everyone use for a gap on their plugs with a MSD ignition box and coil? Stock on my 85 is 32. I was planning on running 42. Does that sound about right?

mine is .035 ac delco RF #5 plugs with msd 6AL and MSD 8.5 wires. Used to gap .045 now reduced to .035, felt no difference in both settings.

what plugs are u using?. modified engine or stock?. DD or weekend warrior?. If its DD i would keep .035 as others suggest me to go .035 if its DD. I drove pretty much everyday.

I noticed to et difference with any plug gap from .030-.080. I leave mine at .030 because of the nitrous.

so you guys are saying that you can leave the gap alone and go with it.

Thanks everyone. This is a 383 with Edelbrok Performer heads, Lingenfelter 74211 roller cam, 1.6:1 roller rockers, 52mm tb, MSD 6AL ignition box and the MSD high output coil.
