man I read about your setup before, but can you elaborate on the specs of the entire engine setup etc..? 511/517 on 9psi is AWESOME! I am curious as to the cam shaft, we ar ein the process of having another short block built for the silver car and have decided to swap my 355 low compression forged motor into the red car since It will make less power then the turbo setup and I am already pushing the limits of the stock LT4 crank in mine.. while its out we plan on trying the GTP6 cam we have from my dads old build.. it has alot better exhaust duration and lift then the 219/219 cam we are running urrently and I feel the 219 cam is a big shortcoming to the power potential of the car from the huge torque over power difference.
thanks! and congrats man.. I know you are gonna love that car.. 511/517 is alot of f8un street power to play with!
like Aaron said.. pulley her down and turn up the wick.. with your current numbers around 14-15 psi should feel amazing.. I would put you in the 600+ realm!

Gene's '383' engine is like none other I've ever seen/tested. I still do not know or understand how his engine builder (some guy named Harold) did it, but this engine (with only 500 miles on it) never 'puffed' or 'huffed' under dozens of hard pulls: both on the street and the dyno. This engine seems to have no blow-by at all - never one drop of oil out the breathers or even a little smoke. Usually after a lot of pulls on the dyno I'll see some smoke out the tailpipe, especially when you let up on the throttle, but not here! In fact, when you pull the engine oil dipstick the oil looks exactly like you just changed it - I mean this oil looks like it's right out of the bottle: just clean, clean, clean!
Anyhow, 'cudos' to Gene for all his rigorous research and yes the engine has more in it if combined with a bigger blower.
Best regards, Greg
Yes I did put alot of time investigating parts for the engine and it paid off. Harold from Port Pros builds a nice engine. But and I say but, if you have a well built engine, Greg without your Gen IV Gaseous InterCooler System and the time you spend Tuning and the workmanship of the little things done by you, the 511/517 would not be there.
Yes, I did meet Greg when I was interested in his Gen IV Gaseous InterCooler System. At that time the engine was a stock LT1 Vortech V1. I had some of his system installed and Greg finished it up. Greg then asked if he could used the car for his 8 rib system, boy was I lucky. When finished stock Lt1 Gregs complete system 404/403. Do his systems work, Yes THEY DO. So, Thank You Greg

I saw and agree with everything said about the engine, Harold you did a stand up job!
That car has a very nice shift pattern... smooth as silk... I'm getting close to dyno time with mine as well. I'll keep you posted...
