Alvin made my car go from mid-high 13's that were all over the place to very consistent 12.80's with a best of 12.79 and I picked up over 10mph with no other changes.

Sweet, If I don't pick up don't get discouraged. I'm going to be out of the office most of tomarrow.. Starting Wednesday I'm going to have a person here answering the phones.

I had a local tuner try to tune it and there was a big drop in power at 5500RPM that comes back at 6000RPM and shows that the car all of a sudden got rich. Also, if you slowly throttle up it's not to bad but if you mash it suddenly it bogs and then responds. Timing?
I gutted my cats cause I felt they may have been restricting airflow ( would post pics but don't know how ) and I'm going back Monday.
If he can't get it right ( I still think it's a tuning issue and his equipment seems to be in rough shape compared to the last time I was there ) I'll call you.
I live in Toronto Ontario Canada...If I phone Tuesday morning how soon can I get the chip here with the best shipping available?
My pleasure! We have to give credit where credit is due!

I had a similar thing happen and Alvin's first chip has gotten my car running smooth. Took care of the power dip, rough idle which would stall at times and I have gotten a best of 12.226 @ 114.24mph on the same chip with just gears and converter.
This will be the best money you spend as far as mods go.
PCM for less is awesome. The first few tunes weren't working with the mods, but they kept sending me the tunes until it was right. By far the most affordable tuner with great results!
Frank -- your car looks pretty stock except for exhaust.
I think a PCMforless chip could work for you as well as the modded cars.
I have a '93 LT1 M6 with Corsas and a cut lid/K&N --the chip perked it up quite nicely. I don't have any dyno or 1/4 mile verification, though................
i recently went through EBAY to acquire a chip for my 93 corvette: BAD MOVE! it was a 100% disater, my vette ran like trash, with service now light always coming on, the engine always ran with a surge so i went back to my OEM setup and sent the chip back to the MFG, so with a lot of concern and apprehension i went with the PCM for less chip and my 93 corvette is now running better than ever, i couldn't be happier, Alvin you are the MAN!

PCMForLess has been a godsend for me. I went from hell to heaven, by changing tuners and going with Alvin. he will work with you until you are 100% satisfied. He worked hard on my base tune, and only after 1 tweak I was set. This was all done via mailorder.
I wouldn't ever consider anyone else after the great experience, not to mention the unparallelled value, I received. The whole process extremely positive, he assured me he would take good care of me, and thats exactly what he did. I was one nervous nellie, and he walked me thru everything with masterful patience.

Hey Vette Threat try Autoworx in Toronto, they are by the airport. I got a dyno tune for $450.00. They are good guys. Keep Sept 16th open, I am arranging a Vette day at Cayuga.
If their the chip quality is in comparison to their customer relations I'll bet the chip will be great. I e-mailed Alvin with a list of ?'s last night and sure enough this morning there was a response this morning with all the answers. I'll be placing my order tonight. Thanks Alvin for the quick response.

Alvin's partner, Bryan, reflashed the PCM in my 96 LT4. Bryan does all the late model stuff.
What a killer! I was totally blown away by the performance. His turn-around time was so fast, I was not even expecting the package the day I received it.
These guys are the real deal. They are great to do business with. Unlike some other vendors on this site. (Vette Brakes and Products)
They will return emails promptly. If they get tied up, they will apologize and let you know. First Class business all the way!
