I plan to install a new Corsa catback system on my '96 vert next Saturday. I have the use of a rack so I expect this is to be a one day removal and install.
Any pointers or things to be aware of?
Anything that corsa leaves out of the package that I should be aware of?
I don't rember if the instructions say so or not, but on mine the left and right rear "S" pipes that attach the mufflers (and run down under the rearend) are not interchangeable (althou they looked almost identical to my eye). They are also not marked so you will have to trial fit everything. If your mufflers seem to hang way low (not at the correct angle) you need to switch the pipes. Its pretty noticeable, so no worries spotting it if your wrong.
Also leave the clamps slightly loose so you can move everything around and get it fitted the way you like (and without anything rubbing)before tightening everything down. Use penetrating oil on the drivers side catalitic converter flange bolts. They were in there really tight on mine and I ended up replacing them with new ones for peice of mind (new ones were NOT included from Corsa).
The Corsa I have on my 92 is the nicest cat back exhaust I have ever installed to date. The fit and finish is top notch, and it had every clamp needed and even new SS bolts for everything other than the cat (you should be able to re-use the factory ones if your careful).

My driver's side O2 sensor was fused into the stock pipe in what might as well have been a permanent manner. I ended up getting a new one to install with the Corsas. Passenger side sensor stays on the stock tubing.
I preassembled mine on teh floor before fitting it in place. I had one of teh early sets that didn't have the edges of the tubes deburred. I called Corsa and made the suggestion to deburr the ends so the fit would be easier to slide on and they did, because my second Corsa had the tube ends deburred.
Also, by preassembling, you can find out if everything will fit properly, again on my first one, some of the tube ends were flattened and it was a bitch getting them round enough to fit. But it's easier to do on teh floor rather than while you have it hanging over your head.
Once you have the two forward tubes attached to the center piece(I also attached the rear pieces but not the mufflers), raise it into position and hang it from the four spring hangers(or have someone hold it), then slide on the passenger side, then the drivers side can be bolted on.
Hang the mufflers, make all your connections, check that everything is straight and lined up as it should be, then tighten up, drop the car and check the tailpipe alignment, adjust as necessary and pull out in the street and do a burnout.
Then raise the car again, double check everything(I had a muffler fall off my first system, I either forgot to tighten a clamp or it loosened during the hard launches and burnouts.

I had the mufflers polished before install. The look chrome when done right. Cost about $100.00 to have done. Well worth the delay and money.
