MSD 6AL needed?
My new engine will be making 400-425 horse power. Is the stock ignition ok or should I move to the MSD ignitions?

Only thing a MSD will give you is a rev limiter, that probably could be incorporated into your chip programming for less money, along with the other changes....
MSD will help fire a rich carb setup at idle, but other than that, it's not worth anything, advertixing be damned....

I'm running a Callaway 383 w/ approx. 450 HP and am using the stock ignition (plugs gapped lower than stock @ 0.035).
I think there is enough juice in the factory box.
