With 60,000 miles on the '95 LT-1, I guess it's time to change the wires. What brands do everybody use? The AC-Delco have lasted the first 60k however they're just too darn plane looking. Ecklers has Moroso Blue Max for $75 and Taylor Red for $70. Opinions? Thank you.
Re: Which brand SPARK PLUG WIRES do you use? (BIG Dave)
Magnecor 8.5mm wires are by far the best. Im surprised more vette guys dont run them. I have them on all the vehicles in the family(Grand National, 10 sec. Mustang, corvette, and even my Cadillac STS)
Go to there site, they'll sell themselves. http://www.magnecor.com
but dont buy direct, youll pay too much. Buy from Lingenfelter or another dist. for them.
Re: Which brand SPARK PLUG WIRES do you use? (BIG Dave)
I installed blue max with MSD digital-7 ignition and msd pro-power coil it run like poopie and spark would jump through side of wire to engine also wires had high resistance I installed MSD superconductor wires and now everything is fine. From your post you seem to be shopping for price if you want low cost wires go to autozone if you want the best buy msd superconductor :yesnod:
Re: Which brand SPARK PLUG WIRES do you use? (mackeyred96)
I recently had a set of Magnecor 8.5 mm wires on. They appear to be a well constructed wire, but doubt there is any measurable "performance" gain with wires in general. They're red, so at least they look cool
They did fit in the stock looms.
I did get them from LPE (I called their factory first and they even said it would be cheaper to purchase from LPE rather than the factory

I have the Taylor spiro pro red. They look great, run great, no trouble yet. I have an 88 L98. Got mine from internetracerssupply.com for $39.00. Cheapest price around.
