Default B&B Tri-FLow Install...

Hello all. I am in the middle of installing a B&B Tri-Flow on my 93 LT1 Auto with EM Longtubes and have a couple of questions. I bought the kit with slightly used without instructions and the original cat connections cut off.

Do the mufflers brackets have to be grinded down to fit on the mufflers? They seem to hit one of the tips.

What size (thread/pitch) are the bolts that the muffler brackets bolt to? I was just at a hardware store with the mufflers and none of the bolts seemed to thread on correctly.

Is the resonator directional?

So far I have hung the front and rear pipes along with the resonator. It seems that the left rear pipe is up against the rear but I think it will go lower once the mufflers are on. The front left pipe is up against the hanger and it has no movement, how do I correct this?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

1) I remember having to cutsome of the muffler brackets off because the tubing was in the way. I also had to fill in the bolt hole with weld, grind down and drill a new hole 3/4" higher to make the tips align properly.

2) not sure on the bolts. My guess is you will find something or just tap a proper fit.

3) The resonator IS directional. I I recall, as the exhaust passes through the resonator, the "fin openings" are towards the rear.

4) I needed to get shorter exhaust hanger springs. I believe I got 1 1/2"
