Hey Retro,
Are you sure the O-ring for the cap stayed in place when you installed your MSD Opti? Because if it didn't it will destroy that Opti. It happened to forum member Phil Ferency. He thought he had timing issues. He had to send it back to MSD for a rebuild. Don't know if he"s got it squared away yet.

This happened to a Camaro owner but the exact same thing happened to Phil. The damage was identical. I had a devil of a time to keep it in place so I used super glue to tack it. Mine still runs perfect. I've got about 500 miles on it now. Just my 2 cents.
