Default Door won't close??

I was messing around the the doors today and I pushed the latch up and now it is stuck in the locked position im guessing?? Well when I try to close the door it wont close of course, because of the position it is now in. How do i fix this one?? I'm going to have to take the computer off above the battery now and unhook the battery so I dont drain it until I can figure this one out. I'm heading back the garage to mess with it now, just wanted to post this in hopes that someone had a quick fix.

Attached are the pics of what im talking about.

Here is the postion that I pushed the latch into the next two pics are the of the drivers door which I did this to.

This is a pic of the passenger door which works and shuts correctly.

I tried the key to release it and my finger the power locks, handles and the FOB, but doesn't seem to want to release. Any ideas for a guy that isn't the best with car fixing?

Thanks

Put pressure back on the latch in the other direction and pull the door handle open. If course the door will have to be unlocked.

RACE ON!!!

I believe you can push the lock mechism open by using your finger or a screwdriver. you will get a little greasy, but usually an easy fix. I think we all have done this!

Thanks! That did it. I was trying to pry it back w/o lifting the handle. This forum and the people that take part in it are great and have helped me with all kinds of things! Thanks for making things easy!
