I am setting up a winter exhuast project, so I looking to start with the cat. I have headers and the stock cat. The cat just failed emissions, so i need to replace it. My mechanic was driving behind me a Carlisle, and said the cat was toast, just even the way it smelled.
So...i want to use a hi-flow cat or hollow a replacement cat. Which is better??
What kind to use?? I want it to be a direct-fit, so I dont have to pay for welding.
I see Random tech, magnaflow, catco, there is a bunch.
Heres the kicker...I dont want to really spend$$ the money for the Random tech cat.
The Random Technology High flow cats are some of the best out there. I have changed ours out and I went with the CAT eliminators (don't have to Worry about emissions), But I would really look at their HIGH FLOW X-pipe also. WRO87
