i was wondering the internet aimlessly one night and happened upon this forum.it is way cool! i was wondering about some of the mods i have seen mentioned here? removal of frisbee.you just pull it off?thats it? also what are some simple mods that pay off well? i already have a chip , k&n and exhaust.i am planning a camshaft change in the next couple of weeks. my car has the L-98. it is a 91.it is a lot quicker than i expected when i bought the car. any suggestions are appreciated. i was thinking along the lines of .550 lift with 238 @ .050. and a 112 to 114 LSA. is it a good choice with the stock computer? i do plan on a valve job , and port polish work at the same time.

Welcome to the forum. There is a wealth of information available here. You may want to get familiar with the search function and research some of your questions in greater depth. You will gain more from past threads than you will from a single, multi-question, post.

RACE ON!!!

And another welcome from here! One reason to use the "search" function button and review what's been written is, you will notice not everyone comments on each of the same-sounding threads.

That means, there's new info and advice posted in each thread by sometimes different people. This will aid you in more ways than you can imagine to get a rounded view of what works, and more importantly, what might just be a waste of money.

For instance, look at moderator Mr. Mojo's comments on brake rotors and pads. Very interesting, very recent, and very germane to that thread. He may not have posted in any of the other "brakes" threads.

Welcome! Lots of great people here to help you out with any questions; try to read the FAQ's in what ever section you go to. Helps alot.
If you are going to install a new cam, and port and polish the heads, are going to change the intake? What about headers?

Good luck, and welcome.
Randy

Default Thanks!

wow more replies than i thought. i will try out the search. i already have headers, factory i thought, will they work? got lots of ideas , gonna do a little at a time.i have access to a chassis dyno , and believe it will be a big help. and yes i will port and polish the tpi somewhat. i wanted to keep it looking as stock as possible, but sometimes that does not work out. have any of you guys ever pondered one of those efi deals that looks like a 4 barrel?will the stock rails work? i just been curious. again i am really impressed with this site, and some of the cars on here are really sweet. thanks again, Terry
