I remove the cap from the master cylinder and squeeze with my fingers(I insert an old pad backwards first so I have something to press on).

i had heard that if you depress the caliper having abs brakes, there exists the possiblilty of blowing the abs pump. regardless if this is true or not, i have had a few shops tell me this. better safe then sorry!

Frank seems to be spending more time at the gym than me 'cause I just use a large C clamp. Just make sure you suck some of the fluid out of the master first.
