87 C4 Power antenna
Hi all, I have an 87 Ragtop and from what I understand, the antenna is discontinued from GM. Anyone know if the replacement mast/plastic gear strip is available anywhere?

I saw the same ones, but they all say that they are not the OEM, but an OEM opgrade, modifications required. I would like to keep it original. I even went as far as saving the original engine block(not installed of course), but I think it goes a long way as far as resale goes.

One thing that they don't tell you is that you have to drill out a few rivets to get the damn casing open. Oh... and there are not rivets included in the mast replacement.

I replaced the mast on my 87 with an OEM, bad mistake, I should have upgraded to the model you can simply replace the antenae and ribbon from the top...I know ecklers has them. You only wanna do this job once.
