You can try used at www.contemporarycorvette.com but are sure this is what you need? Rarely if ever posted. Most problems are always the motors and I remember that yours got fried. Module is protected by fusible links.
I pretty sure it's the module.
Ran through the test sequence with a test light right outta the manual.
I got juice at the one side of the module. Pretty sure I checked both sides (L & R). And no juice at the other on the L side to the motor.
I will double check tonight since you asked and I'm not 1000% sure I checked both L & R. Cant beleive I would have missed that, but it happens.
Yes, my motor melted. Got a used one from vette2vette. Fusable links looked ok when I looked them over. I'll be back and let you know if I checked it correctly the first time.
I have the same problem with my headlights but I get no power on either side. What was the test procedure you were talking about? I don't have the manual but I tested the 5 pin going in and found power to all but the center pin I believe. Nothing on the other side though. I didn't see any fusible links either.....where are they?
The "power" side on mine had two reds "juice", a yellow, a white, and a black I think.
Black was ground. Yellow and white where the on switch and dimmer for hi/lo beams. I had juice on the two reds and I think the yellow.
The fuseable links are behind the battery at the firewall. Shine a flashlight behind the battery. You should see a screw with a bunch of wires attached. The screw should always have juice. The fuseable links are brown wires with what look like black rubber connectors.
Probably have to pull the battery to get to them, but I could see them ll with a flashlight. If you got juice on the power side, to test the other you need to turn the lights on and off. I think its 100% dead until you turn the lights on. If ya want Ill scan the procedure and wiring diagram for ya and e-mail it to ya. Lemme know. Its pretty simple.
I had a problem with the control module on my 90, when I took it apart and looked inside there are 2 fusable solder links inside the control module on the circuit board one of them had melted. I just replaced the one that had gone and it was fine
Ill take a look. I didnt want to mess with it, but I probably should have been more proactive and just tried. Usually its something just like that and its not that hard to fix, even for a dope like me!
I posted this in another thread but just in case, I thought I would share. I took apart my actuator module and found a fried wire and a loose wire. Soldered them back together and bingo......good as new.
