opti or ecm problem fixed !!!!
PROBLEM WITH CAR
1. First service engine soon light and service asr lights came on .
2. We scanned the car it could not communicate with the ECM.
3. We installed a new ECM we were able to communicate with the ECM and it gave off a
code 36 no high resolution pulse from distributor.
4. We changed the OPTI distributor part # 10457702 bought from GM and water pump.
5. Started the car it gave off a code 36 again.
6.Installed another rebuilt ECM car works fine.
Original problem was ECM should not have replaced opti .
Car quest owes some money for selling me a ECM throwing a code any one ever get some money out of it .
