you probably wont notice any difference, other than it being slightly louder

You may notice a little more torque at low RPMs. I had a Power Effects system on my car and added a crossover (which has the same effect as an X-pipe) just beyond the resonator. It made a noticeable difference in feel and response. It also smoothed out the exhaust note nicely. I'm getting ready to add an X-pipe to my current system too.

If you already have an exhaust system like Borla, your car will get slightly louder. If you add long tube headers, you will get some resonance at highway speeds.

I have SW Long tube headers (no cats) - x-pipe in place of the resonator and Flowmaster Super 40s .. I have ZERO resonance at all RPMS. However, before I did the long tubes and comepeltely removed the cats I had resonance at 1800 RPM. -- So just the opposite...

I agree that even though my car has the B&B 3" system, supposedly famous for resonating, it doesn't seem to resonate to me (I guess I could be more tolerant than some, or deafer... ) and it has the B&B x-pipe with EM longtubes. I think a lot of the people who have said they have problems with resonance don't have the x-pipe, not the other way around.
