Default 2149 Hooker headers

When i bought the Hookers headers i chosed the 2149 with the exhaust gas ricirculation passages. These are very near to the spark plugs wires and in addition these passages are closed by me because i removed the air pump and the EGR.
Now I want to eliminate removing all.
How to cut it and plumb it definitively?
Thanks

On the header? You could cut the tubes, tap them, and screw a plug in. Or cut them and have them welded closed but that'd be bad on the coating if they are coated. You could also sell them and buy the 2151.

I went through the same thing. I ended up cutting mine at abour 1/8th inch, had the holes welded shut then cleaned up the inner mess with a die grinder. Worked very well.

I made the same (...cutting mine at abour 1/2th inch...).
The problem is that when I put the 1/2" pipe in to the big vise, with the weight of the header, I bent the little pipe at the base...allowing a "crack"...
Could I put a on it a weld compound??
