88 Dash Goes Dark When lights Put On
....greetings all,
.....just had this problem pop up last night and noticed it when bringing home a pizza, and due to lack of light, i didn't have time to check fuses or check the helms.
.....the problem is when i turn my key to "on" and start my car to "run", the digi dash is lit as normal. however, when i went to pick up my pizza and turned on the lights, the entire dash went dark. it is functional as i can see the unit working but, nothing lit up.
....i won't be able to check the fuses until late afternoon but, figured i'd get a jump on this before i do. what do ya think the problem is?
.....**now, i have a thread started having to do with the csv temp switch and in that thread, i grounded the tan/brn wire to the csv to ground to bypass the switch..........however, i don't see the correlation between the two...........thanks again!
