backfire out of tail pipe
I have 1992 corvette coupe. It takes about 5-8 second before the car will start. I guess you could say extended cranking time. When it does start, the car miss until I rev the engine a few times and it clears up,But after this it backfires out of the tail pipe at idle. I can give it a little rpm and it still backfires but clears up. can anyone tell me what is causing the extended cranking and backfire problem? :( :(

Yeah.. you could be dumping fuel/air mixture out your exhaust while you're trying to start it.. and once it gets started, all that stuff just explodes.... I'd say spark too....
