Default removing halo trim

Unbolted seat belts, top off, removed all the screws, what is first step to remove, the rubber trim on the back is attached at the middle seam, should I leave it on or go ahead and take off to put on the new trim? Is there a trick to popping it loose? TIA

This are actually one or two screws behind the lights on halo uprights. The lite covers pop off with a flat blade screw driver. Then you can access the screws that hold it I think. You may have to remove the light base also. Have Fun!!! I sure did the first time.

There is also a screw behind the halo upright light that ties the rear hatch trim to the halo. Seems like most of the hatch trim corners get broken off by folks not realizing there is a screw holding them together that you can not see.
