Injector pressure question?
We have a modified L98 engine that we have the fp set at about 48psi when running. When we shut it off it stays at about 50psi over night but about the second day it is around 28psi and will stay there for at least 4 days straight until we start it. Do I have an injector leaking? Haven't noticed a wet plug or is this normal for the pressure to back off some after a couple of days? wro87

I don't think you have a leaky injector. You say at shut down the pressure is 50 psi and the next day the pressure is 28 psi and it stays there for 4 days. Leaky injectors will usually drain the fuel pressure to 0 psi in usually 30 min. or less. I'm sure there is a reason to have the fuel pressure at 48 psi?

I'd say NO, as far as leaky injectors. As for his fuel pressure, that depends on his injectors.You can understand this better by reading TunerPro RT-Super_8d ECU Manual under Injector Flow Rate.

fuel pressure
I would look more at the fuel pressure regulator before I would go to injectors. the regulator diaphram spring may compress as the thing cools off, lowering the pressure
