Has anyone on the forum had a locked up differential and what will it do if it is? My 95 acts like it is locked all the time. When I take a sharp corner I can feel it shudder and it will leave a black mark from the tire on the inside of the corner. I don't have any codes, just once and awhile if I'm getting on it the service asr will come on and go off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Service your rear diff and make sure to put two bottles of GM's LSD additive in. Sounds like your clutches are sticking, there's a good chance this will clear it up.

I had a similar problem recently. Just as you have, my rear wheels were locked together. The car would roll forward or backward fine, as long as you were going straight. During turning one of the wheels would hop to keep up with the other. For me it turned out to be the spider gears (as many here on the forum had correctly guessed). The pin that holds the spider gears together had snappped leaving them sorta weged in there and thus destroying the inner carrier.
I hope yours is something different, as mine obviously involved rebuilding the rear completely. You could try changing the fluid, but I would be slightly concerned that if it is more serious you could be damaging the rear more.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to take your advice. I don't think a fluid change is going to fix it. The fluid I pumped out was like new. I am going to tear it down. I'll let you know how I make out.
Thanks TA! I took it apart today and I found that the pin in the center of the axle had turned and locked the two axles together. No major problem. Thanks again to everyone on the forum.
