Default C4 adjustable A-arm

Discovered this while browsing on Ebay. (item#120036018314). I figured some of you guys that experiment with suspension mods would be interested.

I saw those last week on ebay. Pole Position in Colorado I believe, used to sell the same thing for $190. Pole Postion appears to be closed becasue the URL that I had for them no longer works. If anyone knows where Pole Position went, please let me know as I'd like to get a set of these but not for $445.

I saw their ad in Sportscar. I might wind up purchasing them since I'm in SM2.

been used on circle track cars for eons...visit your local circle track parts vendor...goggle ''adjustable a-arm'' and see what speedway motors has for $90.

the one shown on peebay has very limited suspension travel with the heims in the position as shown, use with caution.

Redrose:
Do you mean suspension adjustment? After all that expense and effort of buying and installing it, you might not get a good range of camber and castor?

no, altho that could be a problem (measure your oem a-arm from the center of the ball joint to the ''centerline'' of the inboard pivots and get a new adjustable arm for the same length)...problem that i was referring to is the actual ''suspension travel'' up and down with the heims positioned to deflect laterally rather than rotate as per the peebay item...heims have a very limited deflection in lateral; many asphalt race cars are heavily sprung and minimal ground clearance and are happy with only 2-3'' suspension travel--that is not appropriate for a vette...movement beyond the range of the ''side-moving'' heim will bend or break suspension components....note that the adjustable arm that ''speedway'' sells (others sell cheaper, shop the miriad of circle-track suppliers) is considered an ''expendable'' item due to the low cost thru those suppliers, and the tendency of circle drivers to use their front wheels as weapons.
