Default Targa Truss Installed

No more shakes, rattles or jiggles with the top off of my coupe. This finally arrived just in time for a few more hot days in Dixie. It looks great and works as advertised.

10 minutes to adjust the fasteners (same as the stock torx) and off I went. It may be stiffer than my solid top.

Hi Len! Whatcha doin' over here? You will need one of these, it's a very wierd feeling to have the top off and the car acting right.

How about a little party soon for the locals?

We put the 'T' back in Targa top! Do ya love it? Are they left hand threads in Australia? They put the steering wheel on the wrong side too.

Mine is glossy black powder coat. That chrome is bling

It's like another top. You use the same wrench to put it on with the 4 torx bolts. It fits in the back of the coupe real nice on the floor. Sturdy overkill on the construction. I think a camera would mount perfectly on the center crossbar. I hate the way the car shakes and shimmys and the windows clatter around with the top out.

It has totally eliminated body flex. It looks too cool. $400. The fellow took a month to make it and have it painted. I'm thinking about going in with him because it's a part time hobby for him. I want to weld a small wind deflector on the leading edge. It already deflects 50% of the wind and eliminated the booming in the cockpit. Super idea!

Not chrome, polished stainless tube. That is not a bought one, a mate of mine made it for me about 7 years ago. The car had to be converted to right hand drive for Australia (if you looked close or drove it youd be very hard pressed to tell it didnt leave the factory that way) The brace was far stiffer than either of the bought ones ive ever seen, was awesome, made the car excelent to drive!!! It was amazing how much better the car would hold when this piece was in place, for ages it stayed there in place of my roof cause of how much stiffer it made the car

I installed mine about a month ago. (RD Racing). Totally changed the feel of the car. Its actually better than having the top on. I can finally enjoy driving with the top removed.

A forum sponser R-D racing sells those to, their webpage doesn't seem to work though.

Prostreet Customs also makes one that I personally think looks better integrated to the car.

I have the Prostreet one. It goes by AFSB Anti Flex Support Bar. Tom Gasper is the man to talk to. He builds them as he goes so get ready to wait a while.

These are the answer if you find the car's flex annoying without the top in. Can't wait for the leaf run now! Twisties without the top
