Need Help with PCV Valve!
I finally got time to care for my Vette. I have completed a tuneup and I needed to replace the PCV valve. The U-shaped hose was cracked and needs to be replaced.
Here is my problem. What is the part called at the end of the hose. The PCV hose is at one end a "by-pass" is at the other end. The reason I am attempting to replace it is because hose has fused to it. I have scrapped as much as I can and now I am soaking it in gasoline to see if softens to remove for it.
Can someone tell the part to replace it or does anyone know of a good way to remove the melted rubber. Thanx so much!
