Default transmittion rebuild question

Hello everybody!Tuned my procharger engine,now transmittion is slipping.I need to rebuilt it .There are many suggestions.e.g monster transm rebuilding kit $750,Hueges suggest other kit about $ 550.Somebody made rebuild themselves?Help please!Transmission assembly is too expensive .I live very far from USA & shipping is about $ 700.

Normally I say to let the guy who rebuilds it choose the parts for your needs. They usually know what works best. If you are going to attempt to rebuild it yourself, you will need normal hand tools and a few special tools that are transmission specific. If you know the power you intend to make, and the rpm that you will push it to, I can recommend some parts.

1992 Vette ,LT-1 engine supercharged .4L60 tranny.Engine horsepower is about 625.RPM is 6000.diff .ratio is 3.73.Thank you.

I would put the following parts in that trans(if it were my car)
Alto red clutch kit with kolene steels.
"Beast" Heavy duty reaction shell.
stock 10 vane pump with new vanes, .471 boost valve and .283 sonnax lo-reverse boost valve
transgo high rev pump kit
Trans go 700 2&3 shift kit
2 white accumulator springs
kevlar band
3 new accumulator pistons
filter
bushing kit
thrust washer kit
new borg warner 29 element sprag
new borg warner lo-roller clutch(rear sprag
Input drum reinforcing sleeve kit
4th only lock up kit
new lock up solenoid
New front seal retainer
reverse piston orifice
new governor gear
fresh torque converter

If you plan to do high speed wide open throttle runs, a billet fairbanks 4th apply piston (servo) would not be a bad idea. Not nescessary, but something to consider.

Thank you very much!Are you selling these parts or were is the best place to buy these things?Only one thing I dont need.Torque converter.It is new ,2800 from TCI.
