C4 Tech/Performance L98 Corvette and LT1 Corvette Technical Info, Internal Engine, External Engine

Default Can you identify this part?



It's got two vacuum lines plugging into it into and Lshaped boot, it's also got an electrical connection plugged into it. It looks like it used to have two more vacuum lines coming out of the back, but if they ever were there, they've been broken off for a long time.

It's located on the pass. side of the distributer, between the dist. and the valve cover.

I can't find it in my FSM, so if you just want to point me towards a page in there that tells me about it, I'd be happy with that too.

It is also missing the piece of foam that acts like an air filter between the two V-shaped protusions on the left side of the unit, which is actually opposite of the plug.......just thought I would toss that in there

Is that all that is missing? It looks like there used to be two vacuum tubes coming out of that side as well...

No, it is just a little piece of foam that covers that port, not a vacuum line.
