If I was to change the injectors from the stock injector in my car to a 30lb ford svo injector, is just changing the injector constant from 23.8 to 30 all that is required? Thanks in advance.

Nope, in order to get it running optimally again, you will most likely need your fuel maps completely re-evaluated.
Thanks to everyone for the info. But I have a couple more questions.
1. Why is it that just changing the injector constant will not bring the tune back in line, assuming it was ok before and the change was just the injectors. I am not doubting anyone, just trying to understand.
2. I switched the injectors this evening and Im concerned with the fit. I understand the clips are really not needed, that they are there to hold the injector to the rail during assy. But I noticed the measurement from the top seal to the bottom seal is about 1/8 in. less then the factory injectors. Because of this, the bottom o-ring is not going all the way into the manifold. Is there something there I am missing?
Just change the injector constant and you should be fine. I just went from 24 pounders to 42 pounders - all I did was change the injector constant and the car runs GREAT.
If you have the injector constant correct the computer will figure it out.
I went with Ford/Bosch green tops.
Though probably not completely necessary, to make the injector fit like the stock injector I took a hacksaw and very lightly made the bottom groove go the full 360 so I could use my stock clip in the groove. Works great.
